Gousto: shoppers' questions

Questions about Gousto, answered by us and by readers who've shopped there.

  1. Does Gousto do a student discount?

    Our answer

Yes, for new customers. Gousto's student offer runs through Student Beans and UNiDAYS: you verify you're a student with one of them to claim it. It's a tiered discount over 12 months, larger on the first box, smaller on the next few boxes, then lower again on every box for the rest of the year. The two schemes list slightly different rates. Student Beans' terms say it doesn't cover premium recipe surcharges, Gousto Market items or delivery fees.

  2. Does Gousto deliver to Northern Ireland?

    Our answer

Yes. Gousto delivers to most of mainland UK, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, though not yet to every postcode. Orders in the Republic of Ireland go through its separate Gousto Ireland site. To check your postcode, click 'Get Started' on the Gousto homepage and choose a box size; your details aren't saved until you pay at the end of sign-up.

  3. Does Gousto have an app?

    Our answer

Yes. Gousto has an app for Android and iPhone. You can order recipes, see upcoming and past deliveries and this week's menu, open step-by-step digital recipe cards for what you've ordered, and manage your payment details, delivery address and subscription. New customers can sign up in the app, and existing ones log in.

  4. How much is Gousto delivery?

    Our answer

Delivery is £3.99 a box, and you don't pay it on your first box. Gousto delivers seven days a week, between 8am and 7pm, though availability depends on your region.
