About the Books:. In Rainbow Grey, Ray lives high above the clouds in the Weatherlands, surrounded by Weatherlings who can effortlessly summon rain, wind and snow - everyone except her. A trip to Earth unexpectedly triggers extraordinary weather powers, and Ray transforms into Rainbow Grey, learning to control her new abilities while an unknown enemy threatens everything she loves, with her loyal friends and mischievous cloud cat, Nim, cheering her on. In Eye of the Storm, Ray is growing more confident with her full set of weather magic, but is far from mastering it. When cloud creatures across the Weatherlands begin mysteriously vanishing - including Nim himself - Ray and her friends race against time to uncover the dark force responsible before a catastrophic storm engulfs the Earth. The finale, Battle for the Skies, sees Ray face her greatest test yet, going head-to-head with a fearsome villain threatening to tear the Weatherlands and Earth apart. Across all three books, Anderson's vivid, illustrated storytelling blends laugh-out-loud humour with genuine emotional depth, weaving in lessons about resilience, teamwork and believing in yourself even when you feel different. Young readers will be swept up in Ray's colourful world long after the final page..
