UserTrail discount codes and vouchers

UserTrail is website analytics software that shows what visitors do on a site, through heatmaps, session replays, funnels, form analytics, journeys and on-page surveys. A free plan covers 500 sessions a month on one website, and paid plans started at £30 a month billed yearly in October 2026, with a 14-day trial that needs no card. It suits small businesses, online shops and agencies, though the product only launched in 2026.

UserTrail: what to know before you buy

What does UserTrail do?

It records how people use a website and turns that into visual reports. A small tracking script collects clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and form interactions, which become click, scroll, movement and attention heatmaps, replays of individual visits, and friction reports that score rage clicks, dead clicks, errors and 404s so the worst pages surface first. Funnels show where people drop out of a sign-up or checkout, journeys map the routes between pages, form analytics show which field makes people hesitate, and surveys ask visitors questions on the page. The documentation has install guides for Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, Squarespace, Adobe Commerce and Instapage, and agencies get branded client reports and read-only client access.

How much does UserTrail cost?

Prices default to US dollars, with a pounds option on the pricing page. In October 2026, billed yearly, Basic cost £30 a month (10,000 sessions, 3 websites, 6 months of data), Standard £61 (50,000 sessions, 10 websites, 9 months) and Professional £91 (100,000 sessions, 25 websites, 12 months); monthly billing raises those to £37, £73 and £109. The pricing page doesn't say whether VAT is included. The free plan allows 500 sessions a month on one site, recordings of up to five minutes and one month of data, with click and scroll heatmaps and replays but no funnels, surveys, form or journey analytics. Paid features come with a 14-day free trial that needs no card, and the account drops to the free plan afterwards unless it's upgraded.

How do sessions and limits work?

A session is one visit to one tracked site, however many pages it covers, and the monthly allowance is shared across every site on the plan. When it runs out, tracking pauses until the next monthly reset or an upgrade, though existing reports stay available. Each plan also caps how long one visit is recorded, from five minutes on Free to 30 on Professional. Busy sites can sample a share of traffic or record only chosen pages to stretch the allowance, which matters on the Basic plan, where 10,000 sessions works out at roughly 330 visits a day.

What about privacy and consent?

UserTrail treats the website owner as the data controller and itself as the processor, with a data processing agreement built into paid subscriptions. Its tracker keeps a visitor ID in the browser's storage, and its own cookie policy says sites that need consent should load the script only once visitors agree, so a site with a cookie banner would normally load it through that. Sensitive fields can be masked, and pages, elements and IP addresses excluded. Hosting is with DigitalOcean, and Stripe handles payments.

Is UserTrail an established product?

Not yet. Its domain was registered in May 2026, its Product Hunt launch post describes the platform as early and still being improved, and in October 2026 it had one review on AppSumo and no Trustpilot page. The site doesn't publish a company name or address; its AppSumo listing gives London as its base. The trade-off is a low price and a free tier against a short track record.

How can you pay less for UserTrail?

The codes on this page typically take a percentage off the first few months of a subscription. Yearly billing is roughly a sixth cheaper than monthly, and small sites may never need more than the free plan. Only one discount can sit on an account at a time, so a referral discount blocks a coupon. Refunds are limited: first-time annual subscribers can get a full refund within 14 days, and the pricing page mentions no refund for monthly plans.
