About the event
From See Tickets's listing
We are delighted to be joined by the extraordinarily talented Joanne Harris - bestselling author of Chocolat - as we celebrate the publication of her new novel of love, loss, mystery and dementia. A FARSLEY LIT FEST 2026 EVENT As well as hearing about Joanne's new, chilling winter ghost story, we'll discover the secrets behind all her writing and delve into the legendary world of Chocolat, her 1999 novel which was adapted into an Oscar-nominated film, starring Juliette Binoche. The event will include a book signing. Joanne Harris (OBE, FRSL) is the author of twenty novels, three cookbooks, many short stories and even the libretti for two short operas! She was born in Barnsley, to a French mother and English father, and her books which she writes from a shed in her garden in a little wood in Yorkshire, are now published in over 50 countries. Joanne is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, an honorary Fellow of St Catharine's College, Cambridge, was Chair of the Society of Authors between 2020 and 2024, and in 2022 was awarded an OBE by the Queen.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Bradford: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
