About it

From Viator's listing

Step into the heart of Wales on our Welsh Castles, Mountains and Steam Railway day tour — a carefully curated journey through Wales’ most striking landscapes and historic landmarks. This tour travels from Cardiff into South and Mid Wales, passing by the iconic Cardiff Castle before visiting Caerphilly Castle - one of the largest and best-preserved medieval fortresses in Europe. From here, the journey continues into open countryside, with a nostalgic steam train ride on the Brecon Mountain Railway winding through the stunning scenery of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, before visiting Talybont Reservoir. Enjoy free time in the quaint market town of Brecon, beautifully set on the River Usk. Take a peaceful walk along the canal, visit the atmospheric cathedral, or relax over lunch in one of the town’s cafés. You'll also get to see more of Wales' amazing scenery, and learn more about the landscape, wildlife and history of Bannau Brycheiniog at the National Park Visitor Centre.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Cardiff: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
