About the event
From See Tickets's listing
THE SHOW Sand has been one of the best improv groups in Chicago since 2009! Named "Chicago's Best Improv Team" by NewCity, 'Sand' is Mike Brunlieb (HBO's South Side, Comedy Central's Joe Pera Talks With You, and Netflix's Trial of the Chicago 7) and Thomas Kelly (Showtime's Work in Progress, NBC's Shrink, Chicago Med, and the feature film, Monuments) with the multi-instrumental musician: Tim Joyce (Annoyance's Penny the F*ckable Dolphin, The Lesser Birds of Paradise, Bubble Boys and Reveries). Their unique style of improvisation has led to a devoted following and extensive touring in the United States and internationally. A Sand show is often laugh out loud funny and heartfelt in equal measure. Brunlieb and Kelly let their long-form exploration of characters evolve in surprising and hilarious ways. "They're able to tap into a darkness that would lead lesser performers to alienate an audience quickly, And yet they pull it off with a strange sense of empathy that allows for full-on laughter at the most unexpected of topics," said NewCity Magazine. Inspired by documentary film, traditional fairy tales, and the spectacle of professional wrestling, Sand's performances are a night of improv that seamlessly transitions into performance art, where the real and the surreal collide. You got to come check it out! TICKETS Sunday 1st November 2026 19:30 (60min) £9 FURTHER INFO Seating: Every ticket-holder gets a seat, so you can leave standing-up to our acts.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
