About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Baba Yaga's Hut presents: Colossal Squid at Vespers, February 25th Started in 2017, the solo project of drummer/producer Adam Betts (Squarepusher's Shobaleader One, Goldie, Pulp, David Gilmour, Three Trapped Tigers), Colossal Squid has been exploring what the meaning of live electronica is, offering an answer by disrupting the mechanical precision of electronica with warm heart and sweat-soaked chaos. Betts is renowned for ecstatic and face-melting breakcore and punk-infused jungle drumming, and Colossal Squid compositions lean into this expression to create a wild, shared euphoria. Especially while the world is burning, collective joyful abandon is ever more important, and Colossal Squid has created this in recent stunning sets at festivals such as End Of The Road, ArcTangent, Smugglers, Wanderfal, Wrong Speed weekender, Positive Futures and Strange Forms. The forthcoming album Closing Memory is out Feb 2027 on Wrong Speed records. "...Like listening to Dan Deacon producing Lightning Bolt.... "I Lost Detroit" is a particularly strong halfway point, a bittersweet triumph building to a blustery climax that could bring an entire mountain down. Idiosyncratic and intense, it gets straight to the heart of Colossal Squid's appeal: transcendence." - Bandcamp Daily

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
