About the event
From See Tickets's listing
The London Roots Festival PresentsELIZA CARTHY & THE RESTITUTIONALBUM LAUNCH PARTY FRENEMIES - Eliza Carthy Turns Up The Volume Eliza Carthy is fifty years young, and she's marking the occasion with producer Ben Seal and her band The Restitution, cranking the fiddle and guitars up to eleven for 'Frenemies', a new album about motherhood, loneliness, and the messy, glorious business of coming out the other side. Expect pathos. Expect humour. Expect volume. Never one to coast on being a nepo baby - even if her parentage is hardly a secret - Carthy has spent decades championing English music, traditional and progressive, earning a reputation as a fearless mixer of genres and an even more fearless speaker of her mind. Eliza has played everywhere, from the Royal Albert Hall to The Getty Centre, by way of folk clubs, Ghana, and drum & bass basements in Brixton. For Carthy it's all one music - Rock, World, Folk, all threaded together, indivisible. Frenemies is her best go yet at proving it. And so to the launch, and a special one-off show at Camden's legendary Dingwalls, where Eliza Carthy and the Restitution will be blasting through the album in all its glory, and who knows - they may even be joined by one of the incredible collaborators: Jools Holland, Robyn Hitchcock, KT Tunstall, Jos Vantyler, Queen of Harps, Miranda Richardson and Tim McInnerny. This will be a show not to be missed.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
