About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Baba Yaga's Hut presents: Monde UFO at Theatreship, October 22nd Monde UFO, LA-based duo of Ray Monde and Kris Chau, are a monochromatic sunset for the senses. A sonic journey through psychedelia, space rock and jazz. A cosmic space where Spacemen 3 meets Vanishing Twin, by way of Sun Ra. In a downtown Los Angeles warehouse, on 7th Street, Ray Monde began writing songs on an old Yamaha church organ for a project that eventually became Monde UFO. Utilizing the organ as a bass, alongside keyboards and a drum machine, he began making demos on a four-track cassette recorder, adding only vocals and guitar to the organ pieces. He explored making haunting and optimistic sounds while living in Skid Row as a one-man band. Heavily influenced by the musician Sandy Bull, sonically landing in a similar no-man's land of Worldly Jazz and Psych Folk. Monde experimented with the themes mostly of meditation and UFO lore. In time Ray moved in with the artist Kris Chau. With little crossover in musical tastes, they exclusively started listening to jazz, ambient and new age music in the house. Increased interest in sound baths and experimental music led to seeing music in a different light. Ray thought it would be interesting to add Chau into his slow burner music project envisioning something that would sound like Don Cherry making a record with Yo La Tengo. Chau, with no previous musical experience, would play a sacral singing bowl mic'd up though various guitar pedals and singing.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
