About the show

From Theatre Tickets Direct's listing

Some love lasts a lifetime. Some secrets do too. Barrington Walker will tell you he has everything he could possibly want. Dapper and full of charm, he’s a husband, father, grandfather and a man of standing in his Hackney community. But Barry is also carrying a truth he has never managed to share…for the last 60 years he’s been in a secret relationship with his best friend Morris. A story of love, family, and what it means to finally choose yourself, Mr Loverman spans six decades of life from Antigua to modern-day London. Danny Sapani is Barrington and Gary Beadle is Morris in Natasha Gordon’s (Nine Night) funny and tender adaptation of Bernardine Evaristo’s acclaimed novel, directed by Paulette Randall MBE (Doctor Faustus).

For assisted performances, please book directly through the National Theatre.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Theatre Tickets Direct and Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
