About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Rainer Hersch is half German, half English, which means he'd like to take over the world but he's too polite... His comedy show All Classical Music Explained has been broadcast by BBC Radio 4 in a 6-part series and sold out festivals across the world from Scotland to New Zealand. At its heart are those difficult questions: "why is organ music so boring?"; "what did Mozart steal from ABBA?" and "what do conductors actually do?" Whether you are a music professor or can't tell string quartets from a string vest, relax: All Classical Music Explained will teach you nothing but it will make you laugh. Really laugh. Rainer Hersch is a pianist, conductor and stand-up comedian who has appeared on every major comedy stage in Britain and abroad. In the UK he is known for his many radio appearances on 'Loose Ends', BBC Radio 4 documentaries and series about musical comedians of the past including All the Right Notes, Not Necessarily in the Right Order. "The funniest concert you will ever see" - Time Out

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Middlesbrough: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
