About it

From Viator's listing

Help Set a Railway Revolution in MotionNewcastle stands at the heart of a transformation that reshaped the world. Follow the tracks of father and son George and Robert Stephenson and uncover their remarkable true story at the dawn of the railway age. Explore the city where much of their story unfolded, using real landmarks to solve interactive puzzles and reveal each new chapter. Discover ingenious inventions, bitter rivalries, daring ideas, ambitious engineering, unexpected tragedy, and triumphs that once seemed impossible. From dangerous beginnings to extraordinary achievements, their journey is filled with surprising twists and remarkable connections. Follow the clues through Newcastle and discover the people, places and events that helped shape the future of transport. With our outdoor escape games your surroundings become the game. Guided by your phone, your team explores real landmarks, uncovering virtual clues and solving puzzles that connect directly to the world around you.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Newcastle: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
