About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Willy Mason (born November 21, 1984) is an American blues, folk and country singer, songwriter, and musician, hailing from Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, U.S. Born in Tarrytown, New York, Willy Mason moved to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts with his family at the age of five. During his high school education Mason was a member of a number of bands including Keep Thinking, Cultivation and Slow Leslie, and participated in his school’s Minnesingers group and musical theatre productions. With the folk influences of his parent’s record collection and his teenage years’ proclivity towards Rage Against the Machine and Nirvana, Mason crafts a folky, socially-aware/revolution-in-the-air sound. By sheer coincidence, during an appearance on a family friend’s local radio show, a Bright Eyes associate Sean Foley heard the singer-songwriter, and left his number with the station for Mason to contact. The song Mason played was entitled “Oxygen” and led to Mason and Bright Eyes’ Conor Oberst collaborating and touring together. As chance would have it when Mason played “Oxygen” again to an audience of three at South By Southwest festival, one of those members was BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe. The DJ then played it to a British audience and exposed the singer’s often raw delivery and socially-conscious message to a huge audience. Ahead of his full-length debut Mason released two EPs, one untitled and one named “Hard Hand to Hold”.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Portsmouth: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
