About it

From Viator's listing

Hotel Pick-Up and Drop-Off included. Explore the backroads and unspoilt countryside of James Herriot Country on this exclusive small-group tour from York. Travelling in an intimate group of no more than 6 people, you'll see the scenery and drive roads inaccessible to other, larger tour groups. Discover the rolling moors and lush valleys of the Yorkshire Dales, the fascinating 'World of James Herriot Museum' in Thirsk and the ancient crypt below Ripon Cathedral. Along the way you'll discover the English countryside so beautifully showcased on All Creatures Great & Small. You'll explore Wharfedale & Wensleydale, visit Grassington (Darrowby in All Creatures Great & Small) and the Alderson's Farm at Yockenthwaite. You'll have chance to taste local cheese at the Wensleydale Creamery and enjoy countless photo opportunities in the Yorkshire Dales of All Creatures Great and Small.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in York: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
