About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Keg have been experimenting with their sound ever since their conception. Over the 6 years as a band they have garnered attention for their frenetic live performances and unwavering commitment to not settling on one sound. Their new album 'Relaxing Near the Hospital' only further cements this ideology. At once tender and vitriolic the album is full of contradiction, each song taking a sojourn into their myriad of influences. From hefty chunks of hardcore, to Steely Dan leaning croonerish tracks the album is reminiscent of Ween in its commitment to an noncommittal sound. What feels new is a level of vulnerability which has often been hinted at in previous releases, but here feels fully established. The band have released two critically acclaimed EPs 'Assembly' (2021) and 'Girders' (2022), garnering attention from Loud and Quiet, NME, Dork, So Young and support from BBC radio 6 and Radio X. DIY are real champions of the band, awarding them a slot in their prestigious Class of 2023. Their debut album 'Fun's Over' charted in the top 75 in the overall album charts, 10 in Record store charts and in the top 25 in Independent Album charts, received several 4/5 and 8/10 reviews including "Marks the beginnings of a group aiming for the big leagues" - Sound of Violence ????It is the live ar…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Birmingham: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
