About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Moseley Folk & Arts Festival are proud to present Stornoway, The Young'uns and Daisy Chute as the first announced acts on our takeover lineup. Never been to a Moseley Folk takeover before? You're in for a treat. Doors open early at 4pm, with music starting shortly after. We are bringing you a full day of music, with a stacked lineup, spanning the best of folk, roots and indie music on the scene. Stornoway will close the night in our headline slot at 9pm, with support from The Young Uns (and even more to be announced!). Our last takeover, featuring Midlake, Jane Weaver, The Leisure Society, The Brethren, Ollie Cook & The Hogwash, was a sold out affair, so don't wait to secure your tickets. Stornoway Forming at Oxford University, Stornoway are a band who run on curiosity. Producing their own records, they take a bespoke approach to each track. With a wonderfully diverse range of instrumentation and an unmistakable joy in the creative process, every one of their songs is given a very beautiful and carefully considered place to live -- musically and geographically, with recording locations including campervans, wind-buffeted barns, chapels and community centres. The Young'uns One night in Stockton On Tees, three teenagers heard strange sounds coming from the backroom of a pub. They went in. They heard people singing songs they'd never heard before. Songs without instruments. Songs in their own accents. Songs about places they knew. Folk songs. They joined in.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Birmingham: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
