About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Brighton tastemaker indie label Goo Records returns to The Green Door Store with a showcase night featuring four of the most exciting emerging artists around... The Mink - Formed from the soup of East Anglia's music scene in 2023 after catching glimpses of each other playing in other bands and thinking "hell yeah, man". Expect neo-psych that's dreamy, groovy, riffy and flutey in equal measure. That Band Called Susan - Noise punk duo from Hertfordshire making a raw and chaotic racket. Think Shellac having a sort of play fight with Mclusky about what "post-hardcore" really means. Lana Death Ray - Psych-gaze five piece from Brighton building quite the buzz thanks to their infectious, fuzzed up epic sound with some of the best hair around. Blitzer- Exciting young newcomers. Post-punk three piece from Brighton with a sound indebted to the noise of early 80s bands such as The Birthday Party, Echo & The Bunnymen, Buzzcocks and Public Image Limited - all rumbling melodic basslines, icy and venomous guitar attacks, and infectious and exciting drum licks.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Brighton: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
