About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Joan Wasser, known professionally as Joan As Police Woman, is a critically acclaimed New York-based artist. As a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, she defies easy categorisation by crafting her own sound that blends various genres. She has released ten albums of original material, two cover albums, and an anthology. Beyond her solo career, Wasser is a sought-after collaborator. She's a member of Iggy Pop's touring band and performs with Damon Albarn’s Africa Express. Her collaborative spirit has led her to work with Tony Allen, Lou Reed, Anohni & The Johnsons, Meshell Ndegeocello, Rufus Wainwright, John Cale, David Byrne and many other notable musicians around the world.?Sunday Times • ‘Sensational’//Uncut • ‘This is breathtakingly goodmusic'//Mojo • ‘full of meditative beauty...ravishing and lovelorn’//TheGuardian • ‘a voice so wondrous and moving that it makes everyone else’s seem ordinary and mundane’//Q • ‘Beautiful’//The Times • ‘The coolest woman inpop’//The Economist • ‘Joan As Police Woman is one of the 21st century’s best musicians. How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Brighton: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
