About the event

From See Tickets's listing

Sekinue, the Brighton-based musical persona of Fior Anderson, emerges as a transcendent force in the alternative folk music scene. As a trans, queer multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, Sekinue's journey into music took a transformative turn when they discovered the enchanting embrace of the lever harp five years ago. Their debut single 'Knives' explores themes of relationships and mental health, bringing to light what we might otherwise have wanted to keep hidden in the dark. They are currently working on their first album with producer NightHouse Sekinue's live performances offer an extraordinary sense of musical intimacy, inviting listeners into a state of bliss through the harp. They turn even the simplest of sequences into a whirl of emotion, inciting a rare form of musical honesty not to be missed. “If you were to waltz around an empty forest with a familiar ghost and fog attached to your arm, you’d experience what it feels like to listen to ‘Knives’ by Sekinue.” - Harmonics Magazine See more about the artists Here Say you are coming; join the Facebook event page here

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Brighton: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
