About the event

From See Tickets's listing

Folklore Sessions Presents; The Woodgies + SupportFebruary 2nd | The Folklore Rooms£12adv | 18+ The Woodgies are Irish sisters Hannah and Meghan Woodger, whose acoustic music blends indie-pop and folk with the innate warmth and intimacy only sibling bands can hope to achieve. Based in Switzerland, they first rose to prominence when their debut album Holding Hands won the Montreux Jazz Festival's Coup de C?ur award. Since then, they've reached millions online with their heartfelt songs performed a cappella with natural reverb - their cover of "Dreams" by The Cranberries has over 13 million views. They've toured across Europe (and beyond), sharing stages with artists like Ye Vagabonds, DUG and Kids of Adelaide. With a new EP on the horizon, produced in Dublin by John "Spud" Murphy (Lankum, Ye Vagabonds), the duo continue to captivate audiences with a sound shaped as much by Irish tradition as by their Swiss upbringing, carving out a space that feels both timeless and distinctly their own.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Brighton: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
