About the event

From See Tickets's listing

A Night at the Opera is one of London Concertante's most popular shows. Featuring four soloists, each singing solo arias as well as duets, trios and quartets, accompanied by a live orchestra, this programme takes you on a journey through some of opera's greatest showstoppers. The music includes works by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and Rossini, from operas including The Magic Flute, La traviata, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Turandot and many more. Highlights include 'Largo al factotum' from The Barber of Seville, the triumphant 'Toreador Song' from Carmen, the tender beauty of 'O mio babbino caro', and the soaring finale 'Nessun dorma', as well as celebrated ensemble moments - from Mozart's serene trio 'Soave sia il vento' from Così fan tutte to Verdi's dramatic quartet 'Bella figlia dell'amore' from Rigoletto. Whether you are discovering opera for the first time or returning for another unforgettable evening, this programme promises passion, drama, laughter and music that lingers long after the final note.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Cornwall: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
