About the event
From See Tickets's listing
London instrumental quartet Dog Unit's reverb-drenched post-rock and electronica leans just as heavily on the tune-first, purist pop qualities of Burt Bacharach or The Strokes as much as it does the groove and ambiance of their post-rock forebears like Tortoise or Stereolab. Championed from the outset by the likes of Steve Lamacq on 6Music and John Kennedy on RadioX, Dog Unit's forthcoming second album Runners was made over the first four months of 2026 at the band's studio in Limehouse, East London, and saw them work alongside producer Mark Estall, as well as a string quartet and reappointed experimental bass clarinetist Heather Roche. "A different type of musical texture, and a very pretty and moving thing it is too" - Steve Lamacq, BBC 6Music "Propulsive and mesmerising... makes you wish more bands explored music without vocals" - Dan Cairns, The Sunday Times

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
