About the event
From See Tickets's listing
The realest-deal storyteller in indie-rock today is the Tampa-born, New Orleans-based singer and poet Thomas Dollbaum, and his second album Birds of Paradise is his most powerful and dynamic work yet. Accompanied by MJ Lenderman on drums, occasional guitar and backing vocals, here Dollbaum fine-tunes his stroytelling instincts against a backdrop of bracing heartland rock. Following up his critically acclaimed Wellswood (Big Legal Mess, 2022) and Drive All Night EP (Dear Life Records, 2025), Birds of Paradise is a goodbye letter to lost loved ones and former selves. These songs find Dollbaum searching for acceptance in the transient in-between places: Florida's pine flatwoods, backroads leading to I-95, where birds fly across the water. And even though the ghosts of his alt-country predecessors Townes Van Zandt and Jason Molina are definitely present, on Birds of Paradise, Dollbaum emerges from their shadows - waving to the past, sounding all the more like himself. "There hasn't been a more exciting burst of Southern-inflected guitar rock this year than this full-length from the New Orleans-based songwriter Thomas Dollbaum." - Rolling Stone's Best Albums of 2026 So Far "If Dollbaum's music once painted a vivid portrait of all the low places he's been, then on Birds of Paradise, he…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
