William The Conqueror, the critically acclaimed, shape-shifting trio from Cornwall, have quietly established themselves as one of the UK’s most vital underground bands. Rooted in groove driven alt-rock and steeped in the storytelling traditions of folk and Americana, their sound is equal parts fuzz and finesse and has seen them tour with everyone from Bright Eyes to Nathaniel Ratliffe and Wilco, making records with Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Laura Marling) and Joseph Lorge (Phoebe Bridgers, Perfume Genius) along the way. Now several albums deep, and never content to stand still, William The Conqueror continue to evolve — a band shaped by the road, sharpened in the studio, and sustained by a stubborn belief in the redemptive power of a great song, well played.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
