About it

From Viator's listing

Dark Shadows of Edinburgh isn't simply a ghost tour—it's an immersive storytelling experience that reveals the darker side of Scotland's capital through one continuous narrative. Rather than jumping from one unrelated ghost story to the next, every stop, location and character helps uncover how Edinburgh earned its reputation as one of Europe's darkest cities. Walk the atmospheric streets of the Old Town as you encounter infamous criminals, accused witches, sinister legends and chilling true stories. From Plotcock and the Lost Piper to Deacon Brodie, Major Weir, Half-Hangit Maggie and Burke & Hare, each story builds upon the last, creating an unforgettable journey through history, folklore and mystery. With expert guides, immersive storytelling and carefully researched history, Dark Shadows of Edinburgh offers a unique perspective that goes far beyond the traditional ghost tour.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
