About it

From Viator's listing

This whiskey tasting is an enriching and educational experience in which you will discover the history, culture and why this iconic drink arouses so much passion. Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, has played a key role in the popularity of Scotch, and this is a rare opportunity to learn about and immerse yourself in its heritage. In addition, Scotch whiskey is recognized worldwide for its quality and tradition, making it a distinctive element of Scottish culture. This tour will allow you to learn the secrets of distillation, taste different varieties of whiskey and understand why this drink has lasting global relevance.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Edinburgh: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
