About the event

From See Tickets's listing

Martha May & The Mondays are what happens when feral punk fury crashes into the drama and spectacle of classical theatre. Known for their explosive live shows, this five-piece has been tearing up stages since forming three years ago, blending a raw punk backbone with theatrical flair and the unexpected edge of a violin. Best known for their tracks Spit! and War Games, the band continued to evolve their sound with the release of their latest EP, Zeroes and Villains, featuring the singles Gold and Black Dog. These songs showcase a bold progression, layering their fierce punk energy with fresh textures and flavours of cabaret which led them to winning Best Rock / Alternative at The Scottish Alternative Music Awards. Since then, The Mondays have released a new single in the form of "Sink Dogs" which is their answer to corrupt politicians of the world who are constantly making headlines. This was coupled with their fan favourite cover of "Gay Bar" which perfectly encapsulates the queer-punk energy the band shoves in your face. Driven by the DIY spirit of punk both on and off stage, the band proudly champions the LGBTQIA+ community, creating an inclusive space at every show where everyone is free to belong, express, and lose themselves in the noise. Martha May & The Mondays aren't just a band, they're a movement, and this is only the beginning.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Glasgow: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
