About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Drawing influence from the storytelling lineage of folk music, whilst also bringing in ambient sounds and classical vocal influences, Pippa’s music draws inspiration from the likes of Anna B Savage, Laura Marling, This Is The Kit and The Weather Station. Pippa Blundell is a rising singer-songwriter already recognised by the Scottish Album of the Year Awards in their ‘Sound of Young Scotland’ nominations across 2023 & 2024, and by BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway as one of his ‘artists to watch’. Utilising songwriting as a form of therapy and connection to herself, her lyrics draw on themes of love, grief and womanhood. Since releasing her debut EP ‘sisters’ in 2023, she has supported the likes of Mercury Prize-nominee corto.alto, 10cc, Rachel Sermanni, Kaia Kater and Nubiyan Twist. Pippa graduated from the Royal conservatoire of Scotland in 2022 with a degree in Mezzo-Soprano voice, initially aspiring to be an Opera singer her passions naturally led her to song-writing and composition. She found her true belonging in the pubs, clubs and venues of Glasgow’s thriving contemporary music scene. On June 6th she released her debut album ‘common thread’ She shares: “These songs explore the many ways we love. From the toxic kind, such as addiction and dependency, to the freedom of loving the simple and the mundane parts of our everyday life, the land, the nature and of course the people, and in the final track on the record – the self.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Glasgow: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
