About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Canadian powerhouse Tom Stade is back on the road with a brand-new show - taking aim at the absurdities of modern times with his contagious charm and incisive, gloriously unfiltered wit. Direct from the Edinburgh Festival, join this free spirit as he grapples with rebellion, responsibility and the tension between the old and the new. Everything from unspoken social codes, cultural divides, identity and marriage - Tom dismantles all the rules - and redefines them his way! As seen/heard on 'Have a Word Pod', Ch4's 'Comedy Gala', 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow', 'The John Bishop Show', 'Live at the Apollo' (so good, he's done it twice) and much more. He's been rocking live audiences for decades with his trademark swagger, and masterful stage presence. Consistently magnificent, blisteringly funny, come see for yourself why Tom Stade Rules! "MASTER OF STAND UP. LAID BACK COOL AND KILLER LINES" British Comedy Guide "AS FRESH AS THREE DECADES AGO. ATHLETIC FINESSE. JOKES ARE MACHINE TOOLED IN PRECISION, EFFORTLESS IN DELIVERY" List "UNMISSABLE" Edinburgh Evening News "ONE OF THE BEST. CLASSY ROUTINES. STAND-UP ELITE" Chortle "DEBAUCHED TRUTH TELLER" Guardian "SO COOL HE COULD WELL BE THE ANSWER TO GLOBAL WARMING. GLORIOUSLY FUNNY" Scotsman "EVERY INCH A STAR. IF COMEDY IS THE NEW ROCK N ROLL, TOM STADE IS KEITH RICHARDS" Daily Record "ENDLESSLY FUNNY. SLICK, INTELLIGENT, SPARKLING CHARM" Independent

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Hull: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
