About it

From Viator's listing

Cruise through history and modern culture all at the same time! Harry Potter and historic monuments, you will learn about them both. Loch Shiel has featured in many films, Highlander in the 80s and now Harry Potter has brought it worldwide fame. This cruise can also be great for spotting Golden eagles up above the mountains, red deer on the hill sides and other water birds such as the Black Throated Diver (Loon).Glenaladale is a beautiful glen, secluded from the busy world. It is an area famous for being a home of the MacDonald clan, for centuries the MacDonalds worked the land and lived here but later were forced to leave for new starts further afield. The glen still attracts people visiting the home of their ancestors from all over the world. There is a toilet on board and a well stocked bar with malt whiskies as well as a good selection of wine, spirits, soft drinks, snacks and hot drinks. Please park at the main Glenfinnan car park and walk down to the jetty if possible.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Inverness: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
