About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Extended Theatre Seated The Albion Christmas Band returns this December for its 27th year of touring, continuing a cherished festive tradition that marks the true beginning of Christmas. Described by The Guardian as "the perfect antidote to the corporate Christmas", the show blends seasonal songs, carols, storytelling and stellar musicianship into an evening filled with warmth, humour and winter magic. At its heart is the extraordinary voice of Kellie While, whose breath-taking singing brings both expression and intimacy to every performance. The current line-up evolved from The Albion Band, founded over 50 years ago by Ashley Hutchings MBE, one of the most influential forces in British folk music. Bob Dylan described Hutchings as "the single most important figure in English folk rock", recognising a career that has left an indelible mark on British music. The Albion story is also intertwined with some of the most respected names in folk. Simon Nicol, long-time member of Fairport Convention and one of the defining guitarists and singers of the English folk revival, has been a key collaborator over the decades. Simon Care, renowned for his expressive melodeon playing and tireless work across folk and roots music, brings energy, sensitivity and virtuosity to the stage. Representing…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in the Lake District: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
