About it
From Lovetovisit's listing
Welcome to the Derwent Pencil Museum, home of the world's largest pencil! Located in the picturesque Lake District, the Derwent Pencil Museum is a gem of a museum that's well worth a visit. The museum is a fascinating insight into the history of pencil-making and the brand that's been crafting these handy little tools for over 180 years. You'll discover the different techniques used to create the perfect pencil, from graphite mining to wood processing, and get to see rare antique pencils from around the world. Learn and discover in this interactive museum in Cumbria, a perfect day out for families But it's not all about the history. The museum also boasts the world's largest pencil, standing tall at a whopping 26 feet! You can't help but feel a little dwarfed standing next to it, but it's a great spot for a fun photo op. For the young (and young at heart), there's an interactive exhibit where you can make your own pencil, and even personalize it with your name. And if that's not enough, there's also a graphite cave replica for you to walk through, as well as a pencil-themed play area for kids to burn off some energy. But let's not forget the gift shop, where you can stock up on all sorts of pencils, from classic graphite to vibrant coloured ones. They even have pencils made from recycled denim and newspaper, which make for unique souvenirs to take home.…

See them allHow I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Lovetovisit and Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in the Lake District: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
