About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Just announced! Join us at The Wardrobe, Leeds on Friday 9th April 2027, where “Stipe” will be blasting out all those R.E.M classics, fan faves, deep cuts and loads more! R.E.M. formed in 1980, in Athens, Georgia and by the mid-nineties earned the tagline ‘the biggest band on the planet’ from the music press. They pioneered the alternative rock scene with relentless touring and a distinctive sound and entered the 90s mainstream without compromising their artistic vision. They remain as relevant today as ever. Their music is instantly recognisable: ringing guitar lines, tasteful and clinical drumming, melodic bass, and sublime harmonies coupled with poetic (and political) lead vocals. Continuing as a trio after the departure of drummer Bill Berry in 1997, R.E.M. broke up in September 2011, just as they had started: as friends. They have ruled out ever re-forming. R.E.M. by Stipe, the Definitive Tribute reflect the core of R.E.M.: four highly-experienced musicians who embody Berry, Buck, Mills and Stipe, capturing the presence and performances of the band. As huge fans of the band they are committed to holding true to the sound and overall aesthetic of R.E.M., so that fans, old and new, can experience the magic of hearing these songs played live with care, conviction, and affection. They are joined on stage, as R.E.M. were, by additional musicians to help bring album tracks to life on stage.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Leeds: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
