About the event
From See Tickets's listing
The Operation Centaur model of equine-assisted psychotherapy and coaching is an evidence-based model, resulting from nearly two decades of research. The course looks at each step of this model: SAFETY is the first stage. How do we keep ourselves psychologically and emotionally safe, and how can horses help us in this? How do we learn to be accountable, to ask for help, to connect with the outside world? CONNECTION and how we relate to others is at the core of the human condition. The roles we play in this as individuals becomes even clearer when the other is not a person, but a horse. Why do people choose certain horses and not others? How long do they spend with the horses? Why do we want to find out the anthropomorphic details of the horse, such as their name? Why does age or sex matter? RE-CONNECTION, the return to a relationship once it has been established and after a period of absence, is another key element in human functioning - and working with a herd of horses makes us see things radically different. To reconnect, either as an individual or as a group, can be a very different experience. Have things remained the same? What has been lost? What has been gained? The connect-reconnect dynamic is making the strange familiar - and then, conversely, making the familiar strange again. It offers a real opportunity to work through attachment issues, and through loss. MOVEMENT is something crucial horses can teach us.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
