About the event
From See Tickets's listing
New Cross Live presentsMik Artistik's Ego Trip are genuinely delightful, funny, frightening, and indefinable. Northern rock and roll stand-up comes close. Mik fixes the audience with his compelling stare, hypnotising and charming them with stories, songs, and poems. Every show is unique as Mik finds a new train of thought to ride. He connects, chats, breaks the wall between audience and band, creates chaos, plays air-crook lock (!?), all complimented by exquisite layers of rock, soul, funk, and punk created by Jonny Flockton on electric guitar, drum machine, and one of a number of well-heeled bass players. The band are regular Glastonbury favourites since their first appearance in 2007. Many fans don't consider Glastonbury has started until they've attended either Mik's gig on the Wednesday afternoon at the Croissant Neuf Bandstand, or the chaos that reigns at Thursday evening's Rocket Lounge gig. Both are now Glastonbury traditions for many fans. They have achieved an enviable reputation at many of the major UK festivals, including Latitude, Bearded Theory, Beat Herder, Wilderness, and Beautiful Days. BBC Radio 6Music have long been playing Mik's music with Gideon Coe, Chris Hawkins, Shaun Keaveny and Tom Robinson all big fans of the band. In early 2020 no-less than rock icon and 6Music presenter Iggy Pop endorsed Mik's anthem of hope 'Sweet Leaf of the North' as his favourite song of the last DECADE! ... In his words "...…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
