About it

From Viator's listing

On this walking tour we will discover the rich music history of London and see the places within it that shaped the music we know and love today. Walk through the cultural heart of London with your charismatic local guide and music specialist, Jon. We will uncover hidden gems and iconic landmarks and experience a wonderful journey of musical development. Along the way you see the places where our legendary musicians recorded, created and performed. Hear how some of the world's most famous acts started out on their careers. We will be walking in the footsteps of musical legends on the very streets that the Rolling Stones made their debut album, where David Bowie recorded Ziggy Stardust and the Beatles gave an unforgettable iconic performance. You’ll see the birthplace of British Rock and Pop music and experience the exciting development of Pop Culture and how it shaped our lives forever.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in London: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
