About the event
From See Tickets's listing
SPECIAL KINDA MADNESS7:30pm, Sat 12th December, Club 85, Hitchin Special Kinda Madness return to CLUB 85 in Hitchin on Saturday 12th December following numerous sell out shows at the venue with their classic take on Madness and The Specials. Here's the lowdown; SPECIAL KINDA MADNESS perform a truly authentic set from each band, combining the phenomenally energetic stage presence of The Specials with the wonderful iconic tunes of the Madness 'Nutty Boys'. Playing a set from each band and producing a show that will have the audience up and dancing from the off, Special Kinda Madness will have everyone hankering after that exciting era of 2-Tone and ska. On 21st July 1979 at the Electric Ballroom in London, the Specials played a gig with Madness, Dexy's Midnight Runners and Selecter. That's a gig that all 2-Tone rude boys and rude girls would die to see, and thought would never happen. The Specials and Madness on the same bill! We know it will never happen now ... but you can get the next best thing with Special Kinda Madness!2 Bands ... 2-Tone ... 1 Fantastic Night! There is no support on the night as the band play 2 sets with the running order of Specials or Madness to be decided on the night. Doors open at 7:30pm with the band taking to the stage for their first set around 8.15pm.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Luton: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
