About the event

From See Tickets's listing

GREEN ISLAND FESTIVAL PRESENTS: NIAMOS FUNDRAISER Music, culture & community in Hulme, Manchester Main Theatre: Don Letts · Freedom Masses · Lil MinxFoyer: Dischi · Sarah Bates · SNO · Tomi from Brockley Green Island Festival invites you to a special night of music, dancing and community at NIAMOS, Hulme — raising funds for a venue that has played an incredible role in Manchester’s cultural history. Headlining the main theatre is the legendary Don Letts — Grammy-winning filmmaker, DJ and musical pioneer who helped bring reggae and punk together, shaping generations of music and culture. Joining him are Freedom Masses and Lil Minx, bringing their own sounds and energy to the night. Lil Minx is a Manchester DJ known for her eclectic selections spanning soul, jazz, R&B, Ghanaian highlife and beyond. Meanwhile, the foyer welcomes local legends Dischi, Sarah Bates, SNO and Tomi from Brockleyfor more musical explorations and dancefloor magic. This is about more than a party. NIAMOS is a building rich in history, creativity and community, and we want to help secure its future. Every penny raised will go directly to the venue, supporting more beautiful events, performances and gatherings within its walls. Come celebrate the past, dance in the present and help keep this special space alive for the future. One building. Incredible history. A future worth dancing for. Presented with love by Green Island Festival.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Manchester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
