About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Award-winning singer/songwriter Kirsten Adamson (daughter of rock legend Stuart Adamson (Big Country, Skids) summons the same heart-stopping purity as Sandy Denny, by way of Emmylou Harris and Kate Bush. Backed by The Tanagers, Adamson brings a warm, expansive band sound to her distinctive blend of heartland Americana, folk and rock. Following the critically acclaimed Landing Place in 2023, Adamson sharpened her focus with Dreamviewer in 2025. Recorded with producer Joe Harvey-Whyte, the album marked a clear step forward, leaner and more assured, with the songs given space to breathe and the performances shaped by restraint rather than excess. Critics praised its balance, emotional precision and song-first approach, capturing an artist increasingly confident in her own instincts. "I could listen to Adamson's voice all day every day, it's angelic" - Maverick Magazine In 2027, Kirsten Adamson & The Tanagers release Live in London, captured at the Water Rats and documenting a band that has grown in confidence, scale and reputation over the past two years. It marks the beginning of another chapter for Adamson, with a new record on the horizon and a live show that has become as central to the story as the songs themselves. We're thrilled to be welcoming her back to Manchester in April!

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Manchester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
