About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Edinburgh Fringe Award Best Newcomer WINNER (The first Irish woman to do it!) and Comedians Choice Best Newcomer WINNER 2026, Marty Gleeson brings her debut sell out hour 'Dog Ear' on tour. Directed by Abby Wambaugh, 'Dog Ear' was also shortlisted for the Edinburgh Fringe ISH awards. Rolling Stone 12 Rising Stars Edinburgh Fringe 2026. Hello, Marty Gleeson whispers gently yet sternly right into your tiny stupid ear. Her hand stretches toward you, one eye lights up like a spark, the other one is dead behind it. 'Come on.' Gleeson growls. Unnerved but excited, you take her hand as she pulls you head first into show 'Dog Ear' You'll see magpies like you've never seen, news reporters in unexpected places and flaw filled moments of humanity all the while asking yourself, how important is detail? ***** The Standard In the hands of another comic, this is wacky silliness. In Marty Gleeson's hands, this is art. ***** The Telegraph Marty Gleeson is the most exciting discovery of this year's Fringe. A fascinating show without a single predictable moment, every joke comes out of the blue. **** The Scotsman Gleeson's a rogue talent, a messer with the soul of an artist and the capricious wit of an inveterate trickster' **** The Skinny It's hard to pinpoint what's so intriguing about Gleeson's approach but in her hands, it all feels new' **** Chortle Gleeson has a comedic wisdom beyond her years.

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Manchester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
