About the event

From See Tickets's listing

“I’ve been listening with a great deal of interest to Roxanne de Bastion…Beautiful. There’s quite a few good things on this record.” – Iggy Pop (BBC 6 Music) “de Bastion broadens her sound ambitiously, to great effect”– The Observer"Berlin-born London-based singer-songwriter Roxanne de Bastion amps up her sound to excellent effect on new single Simple Pleasures, an electro-tinged Britpop-adjacent banger that doesn’t overstay its welcome!" THE NEW CUE Roxanne de Bastion is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter, author and artist activist who has built an international career independently with sheer talent and enterprise. Here new album, Here Lies Human, heralds an exciting new era: 10 energetic, upbeat alt-pop bangers about end of days. Roxanne has worked with producing legends old and new for this album in the form of Tony Visconti (David Bowie, Paul McCartney, T-Rex) and Steph Marziano (MPG producer of the year, Grammy nominated for her work with Hayley Williams). Here Lies Human is the follow-up to her Bernard Butler-produced 2021 album Me and You, We are the Same (“de Bastion broadens her sound ambitiously, to great effect,” The Observer) and comes after her acclaimed literary debut, 2024’s The Piano Player of Budapest, published by Little, Brown. The book told the remarkable true story of her grandfather’s persecution during World War 2, and how both he and his piano survived.…

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Manchester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
