About the event
From See Tickets's listing
The Early Years and Sennen head out for their first live dates together since 2007 on a UK tour this November. Parastatic will also be opening the evening and The Flightpath Estate will be on DJ duties and their will be an end of Tour Cosmic Disco til 1am. Now reunited as labelmates on celebrated indie imprint Sonic Cathedral, both bands grew out of the fertile UK shoegaze adjacent scene of the early 2000s - the former more influenced by krautrock and drone, the latter combining post-rock and harmonies - but they've been silent for the best part of a decade. Until now. The Early Years released their long-awaited third album, Modern Moonlight, at the end of May to great acclaim, while Sennen are also gearing up to share their first new material in over a decade. The Early Years formed in East London in 2005 and have released three albums, each ten years apart: 2006's self-titled debut for Beggars Banquet, 2016's II, named as one of Uncut's Greatest Albums of the 2010s, and this year's long-awaited Modern Moonlight. They have been remixed by the late, great Andrew Weatherall, praised by Brian Eno and played with Ride. Their live shows are the stuff of legend, and these will be their first for over eight years. Praise for Modern Moonlight: "Rich productions that channel Joy Division, A Certain Ratio and shimmering, DFA-style grooves.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Manchester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
