About the event
From See Tickets's listing
Support:The DirtThe Dirt are an Anglo-Japanese duo based in Mossley, on the Manchester side of the Pennines, made up of spoken word artist Jack Horner - better known on the Manc circuit as Leon the Pig Farmer - and his wife, multi-instrumentalist Sachiko Wakizaka. Their sound welds psych and shoegaze guitar loops to electronic rhythms and abrasive spoken verse, with Sachiko building walls of fuzz and feedback from a small mountain of pedals while Jack fires off rapid-fire verse on mental health, politics and the state of everything. Louder Than War made their 2023 debut album Agitator Album of the Week, and 2025's Monkeypunch - recorded with Jason Shaw at Fuzz Face Studios in Scotland - pushed the anger outward into a call to arms. A third album, An Iridescent Dream, followed in 2026. Comparisons run to The Fall, Suicide and Spacemen 3; live, they're a genuinely uncompromising DIY proposition.[slab]Cinematic Manchester post-rock with a shoegaze punk bite. Debut album Taut - Louder Than War Album of the Week, 5 stars, and No.8 in their albums of 2025. Guy Garvey calls them one of his "favourite power trios.""A masterpiece" - Andy Cairns, Therapy?

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Manchester: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
