About it

From Viator's listing

Join us for a tour around the fascinating remains of Old Newcastle, including free entry to Newcastle Castle! This tour will bring to life the history of Newcastle which lies hidden behind the facade of the modern city. One of our friendly and knowledgeable guides will take you from Newcastle Castle along to Monument before stopping at St Andrews, Newcastle's oldest church, past the formidable town walls taking in Friaries, merchant houses, markets, before finishing at the imposing Black Gate - the gatehouse of Newcastle's Castle. From here you will be free to explore the amazingly preserved remains of the Black Gate and Castle Keep for yourselves - tickets are included in the price of the tour at a significant discount. Don't have time to explore Newcastle Castle after your tour? Don't worry! Your return ticket is valid for 48 hours after your tour! Walking Tours available every Monday and Friday 10:30am and 1pm from 30th March - 5th October

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Newcastle: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
