About it
From Lovetovisit's listing
Newcastle Castle is steeped in history As the namesake that gave the city of Newcastle its name, the historic castle acts as a hub for the city's history. Visit the Norman fortress that acts as a rugged reminder of northern England's turbulent past. Discover where Newcastle's story began and explore the historic namesake that continues to stand. As the castle's tower looms above, you may begin to wonder what the site was like throughout history. Make no mistake, this was not a baron's stately home. Instead, the castle was a grim symbol of royal authority, where armies gathered and criminals were imprisoned and executed. It offered the most commanding views across the city and the River Tyne. The quintessential view of Newcastle and Gateshead. Tons to explore and see at Newcastle Castle Take your time traversing the ancient passageways and chambers; take advantage of the historic and beautiful sights and moments to capture. Go back in time and discover the hidden stories of the castle’s inhabitants over the centuries and take a journey through The Gateway to Old Newcastle. When you decide to head to the roof, take in the brilliant view from atop the Newcastle Castle Keep. You might even recognise the site as it has been used in many films, series and video shorts. Newcastle Castle events At any given time you can find a range of events being held at the castle. If you're a film fanatic, get yourself a ticket to one of the film nights held in the atmospheric Castle Keep.…

How I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Lovetovisit and Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Newcastle: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
