About it
From Lovetovisit's listing
Looking for things to do in Portsmouth with the family? The perfect family experience for a rainy day, The D-Day Story tells the stories and personal accounts of the people who fought in World War II through stunning audio-visual presentations alongside iconic military objects from the museum’s collection. Journey through the museum Your visit to The D-Day Story will start with the last surviving Landing Craft Tank from D-Day, as you learn how it played a vital role in transporting men and supplies across the English channel. Step on board and you'll find the Sherman and Churchill tanks, these have been positioned on the tank deck. The next stage of your visit takes you into the museum. Discover more about 'The Plan'- how those in charge made the crucial decisions around when and where to cross the channel and the secrecy and deception required. Test your knowledge of what is true and learn how fact is sometimes stronger then fiction. The Legacy Gallery features the magnificent Overlord Embroidery commissioned to remember those who took part in D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Film clips of veterans talking about their experiences give visitors further insight to what took place.

See them allHow I list these
Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Lovetovisit and Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Portsmouth: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.
Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.
A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.
I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
