About it

From Viator's listing

An infernal den of Diabolical Demons is a historical walking tour like no other - whether you are a first time visitor or lived here all your life you are bound to be amazed with over 900 years of history, humour and horror it is time to be inspired. Portsmouth, Southsea and Old Portsmouth are brought spectacularly to life by a born and bred Portmuthian with a passion for the city's history. The tour will reveal mysteries from its dark but also dazzling streets, bringing to life the characters and their capers:What distractions were the Portsmouth Poll women to Pirates, Paupers and Princes? Who was Jack Nastyface? Discover the truth about Nelson. Why was Old Portsmouth SO diabolical? How does coffee, espionage and the stories of rogues entwine in this fascinating den of demons? Find out what the Blue plaques and History books won’t tell you!

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Portsmouth: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
