About it

From Lovetovisit's listing

Experience a crucial part of history at Salisbury Cathedral Step into this medieval masterpiece and encounter 800 years of history and worship. Salisbury Cathedral is unique amongst medieval English cathedrals, built within one century and with no substantial later additions, which means you're looking at the utmost authentic medieval architecture. Stand back and admire the beautiful exterior building and Britain's tallest Cathedral spire, which stands today as a testimony to the faith and practical skills of those who built it. And of course, take a look at the 1215 Magna Carta, one of the most important artefacts in all of British history... History, art, architecture, sculpture and more on this extraordinary day out in Wiltshire Study the original Magna Carta on display in a new interactive exhibition. Written in 1215, the symbolic Magna Carta document was issued by King John of England and stated that everybody, including the king, was subject to the law. Today, the 1215 Magna Carta is regarded as one of the important documents of legal history and you can witness it in Salisbury Cathedral. Keep your day trip ticking along nicely and see the world's oldest working medieval clock. Made in 1386 of hand-wrought iron and initially installed in the detached Bell Tower. If you are feeling spritely, you can climb to the base of the Cathedral spire, at 123m, it's the tallest in England! The building of this very spire 700 years ago marked a revolution in cathedral architecture.…

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Lovetovisit and Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Salisbury: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
