About it

From Viator's listing

With the closure of Bannockburn Experience until Summer 2028, there is more reason than ever to book a Freedom Tour Today. I was amazed at the number of tourists who arrived at the Battlefield, spent less than 10 minutes at the site of Scotland's greatest battle, then departed Bannockburn. This taught me to welcome visitors and thank them for taking the time to remember our great heroes, such as Robert the Bruce and James Douglas, and all those who fought, died, and survived at Bannockburn. Our outdoor tour on the Battlefield covers the Wars of Independence, the Battle, and the aftermath up to the present day. We shall entertain you with stories of the main characters and the small folk who influenced the battle. We also do a Stirling Bridge tour, the scene of William Wallace and Andrew De Moray's greatest victory. Freedom Tour Today is the perfect way to welcome visitors and learn more about why so many people hold Scotland and our history dear to their hearts.

How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: Viator. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Stirling: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
