About the event

From See Tickets's listing

On Saturday 7th November 2026, Sin City Swansea is proud to present The Men They Couldn't Hang. Formed in 1984, The Men They Couldn't Hang have spent more than four decades building a reputation as one of Britain's most important and enduring live bands. Emerging from the Shepherd's Bush busking scene, they quickly became renowned for powerful songwriting, social commentary and an electrifying live presence that earned them a devoted following across the UK and beyond. Their career has taken them across Europe, North America and major international festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Roskilde, alongside performances with artists such as David Bowie, Van Morrison, Elvis Costello and The Smiths. Their catalogue includes defining songs such as Green Fields of France, Ghosts of Cable Street, Ironmasters and The Colours, music that has consistently combined history, politics and humanity with passion and authenticity. Following their acclaimed 40th anniversary tour and Best Of release, the band continue into 2026 with renewed purpose, new material and the same commitment that has sustained them for generations. For long standing followers and serious music fans alike, this is an opportunity to experience a band whose influence and relevance have remained intact for over forty years. How I list these

Everything here comes from the feeds of the ticket and experience sellers I work with: See Tickets. That's a lot, but it isn't everything on in Swansea: venues that sell their own tickets, or sell through sellers whose feeds don't reach me, won't show here yet.

Events are in date order, and a show on several dates appears once, on its first, with how many more there are. Things to do any day start with the seller's own UK picks, then those rated 4.5 or more, guided before self-guided, shared before private, then by rating and price. Every ticket link is an ad: if you buy, the seller may pay me commission, at no cost to you. Commission never changes what's listed or the order.

A price is the seller's lowest for one ticket (or one person, when two book a tour together), as its feed gives it, and I've checked on each seller's own pages what it covers. See Tickets's includes its booking fee, and it adds an order fee to each booking (£1.25 to £4 on the events I checked), which I show beside the price. Where I haven't checked what a seller's price covers, or its feed is more than a day and a half old, I show no price at all.

I don't list resold tickets for football in England and Wales, or for any match in a UEFA or FIFA competition: selling or advertising them without the organiser's permission is a crime (section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994). Times are UK times. Events change and sell out, so the seller's page is the final word.
